Twitter Service Tech team is responsible for automation in the review process to improve operational efficiency. As a senior member of the data science team, you will lead the development of high-performing machine learning models to mimic agent actions, and make auto decisions, including actions and case closure. You will develop scalable, reliable features and data pipelines that are reused by multiple machine learning use cases to generate and manage high quality data sets. You will work with cross-functional teams including operations and engineering partners to drive solutions using data science.
The Position
Analyze massive review data and design metrics to evaluate effectiveness in all types of enforcement operations
Understand complex systems top to bottom and thrive working across technologies and codebases
Build heuristic rules, statistical models, or machine learning models, to automate/simplify/aid content moderation review process
Write data pipelines using SQL(e.g. bigquery, presto) and scripting languages (e.g., Scala Python, R)
Collaborate with cross functional teams to maximize the impact of model outputs. For example, you will work with operational SMEs to find the best signals to be used in the model, and discuss with the engineering team on implementation of the pipeline
Qualifications
Advanced degree in quantitative analysis, with 3+ years (or 5+ years) industry experience in data science or adjacent roles
Strong track record of forming effective cross-functional teams
Expertise solving complex and high impact quantitative business problems with scripting languages and data from modern warehousing systems
Experience with building machine learning algorithms to solve business problems
Comfortable conducting design, code and analysis reviews.
