Ontra is seeking a Director of Data reporting to our Chief Product Officer. This person will manage a team of analysts and scientists and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data within the organization, including data analysis, data strategy, and data-driven decision making. What you’ll do

• Lead: Manage a team of Data Analysts and Scientists, being responsible for their career advancement at Ontra
• Stakeholder Management: Partner with organizational leaders to understand business needs
• Inform: Use data insights to drive business decisions and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Enable: Build a robust data platform enabling decision making for departments across the organization
• Continuous learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data analytics and recommend solutions to enhance Ontra’s data capabilities.

What you’ll bring

• Data Experience: 10+ years in data analysis/science with 3+ years building and managing teams, preferably at high growth companies
• Visualization expertise: proficiency in Looker, Tableau, Mixpanel, and Segment
• Programming expertise: A strong background using SQL and Python to manipulate and analyze data
• Communication skills: the ability to articulate complex data concepts and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attention to detail: the ability to ensure data accuracy and reliability in all analyses across your teams
