The Technology team is looking for a talented data science leader to help build this vision. In this role you’ll report to the VP of Data and Machine Learning, and lead a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Engineers in support of our Know-Your-Network knowledge graph product. This is a strategic role for our organization that enables us to accelerate our rapidly growing team of technologists.

This position can be worked remotely, but you should be comfortable working on New York time.

Responsibilities

• Manage a cross-functional team of talented Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers responsible for the construction of the Altana Atlas Knowledge Graph and the delivery of the Know-Your-Network product
• Serve as the team's technical lead, defining architecture, prioritizing technical tasks, and providing mentorship and guidance
• Collaborate and build strong relationships with Product and Customer Solutions stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities
• Help to hire and retain great technologists who can work well cross-functionally and pull our product forward

About You

• BS or MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• You have 7+ years of real-world professional experience working with Knowledge Graphs
• You have strong working knowledge of Entity Resolution, Natural Language Processing, and Python ML toolsets (scikit-learn, numpy, pandas, dedupe)
• You have experience leading or managing teams delivering major organizational impact
• You have a strong sense of shared ownership and a collaborative disposition
• You have strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have, but not required

• You've managed managers, or grown individual contributors into managers
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or GCP
