The Zebra, named a Best Place to Work in Austin four years running, is revolutionizing how connected consumers research and shop for insurance. We’re excited to be expanding our engineering & data teams and are looking for summer interns who want to join our team virtually for the summer! Our motto is "All Stripes Welcome," and we put that into practice by valuing both traditional and non-conventional backgrounds and perspectives.
We’re seeking interns for our software engineering department (frontend/backend/full-stack developers, SRE, DevOps, QA) & our data department (analytics engineers, data analysts). Our software & data engineers play a vital role in taking projects from spec to concept and building them with high-quality, creative, simple, and sophisticated solutions. Interns will receive a mentor to partner closely with them throughout the summer, and will get to present their summer project in a department wide demo.

We are currently set up to support interns who want to work remotely from the following states: TX, CO, CT, IL, MO, NC, NY, OR, PA, WA, WI, MI.
