As an early and strategic member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for unifying Apollo's data stack and enabling all teams to confidently make data-based decisions to inform Apollo's growth & go to market strategy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent data gathering and reporting skills, strategic, detail-oriented, and motivated.
This role reports to the Vice President of Revenue.
Qualifications and Experience required to apply for this role:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative fields
10+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or other related disciplines
5+ years of experience managing teams at various levels of seniority
5+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing scalable data pipelines and platforms, as well as building analytic products that consume them in large-scale data environments
Experience in leadership roles leading and scaling large analytic teams while reporting to executives or C-Level
Experience with cloud-based (ex: AWS) technologies and modern data-warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Firebolt, Redshift, as well as with NoSQL document stores such as MongoDB
Experience with ETL and data pipelining frameworks and technologies such as DBT, Airflow, Spark, Luigi
Experience with BI or data visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, Mode
Deep knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, data architecture, and relational data modeling
Experience working in both high-growth startup environments as well as scaling data products and teams in large enterprise settings
Deep knowledge of modern SaaS-based metrics and reporting
Experience with modeling CRM data and modern SaaS-based platforms and services
