The Role:
As an early and strategic member of the Operations team, you will be responsible for unifying Apollo's data stack and enabling all teams to confidently make data-based decisions to inform Apollo's growth & go to market strategy.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent data gathering and reporting skills, strategic, detail-oriented, and motivated.
This role reports to the Vice President of Revenue.
Qualifications and Experience required to apply for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, statistics, or other quantitative fields
- 10+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, Data Science, or other related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience managing teams at various levels of seniority
- 5+ years of experience building, deploying, and managing scalable data pipelines and platforms, as well as building analytic products that consume them in large-scale data environments
- Experience in leadership roles leading and scaling large analytic teams while reporting to executives or C-Level
- Experience with cloud-based (ex: AWS) technologies and modern data-warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Firebolt, Redshift, as well as with NoSQL document stores such as MongoDB
- Experience with ETL and data pipelining frameworks and technologies such as DBT, Airflow, Spark, Luigi
- Experience with BI or data visualization platforms such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Sisense, Mode
- Deep knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, data architecture, and relational data modeling
- Experience working in both high-growth startup environments as well as scaling data products and teams in large enterprise settings
- Deep knowledge of modern SaaS-based metrics and reporting
- Experience with modeling CRM data and modern SaaS-based platforms and services
