Your Role:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Data who’s excited to jump into a fast-paced environment and help our cross-functional teams build tech-enabled services that will redefine how patients receive Primary Care and health care benefits from their employers.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, operations and business stakeholders to develop products, KPIs and ultimately the critical insights that drive innovation. As a natural player/coach, you will drive the evolution of our data strategy and develop the data team to empower teams to transform health care.

You will:

• Manage the data team; including data engineers, analysts and data scientists
• Use dbt and SQL in order to help build pipeline products
• Use experiment design and ad-hoc analysis in order to clarify business questions
• Ensure that problems are clearly defined, business requirements are being met, and that work is prioritized in a value-centric manner
• Work with leadership to define the KPIs and strategic direction for your area of responsibility, and be accountable for the success of your workstream(s)
• Drive alignment with stakeholders and your workstream to ensure that your team is iterating towards a shared set of goals and long-term vision
• Drive a team culture that thrives on innovation, iteration, and accountability to shared goals

You’d be a good fit if you:

• have a proven track record of leading data teams in health tech startups
• Have hands-on experience with Snowflake, Looker, and DBT
• are passionate about improving health-care
• enjoy hands-on coding and analysis along with strategic work
• are excited about developing a small but influential data team
• can find innovative ways to measure outcomes
• thrive on eliminating ambiguity
• excel at stakeholder management

It would be nice if you have experience with:

• healthcare Risk Adjustment and Quality Performance programs
• working with clinical end-users
• referral and provider network data
• both Analysis and Data engineering
