We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Insights Analyst II to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.What you get to do:
As an Insights Analyst, you will drive results for client programs by goal tracking, evaluation of performance compared to others/Uplight norm, and other data driven strategies to increase operational and programmatic performance.

What you will contribute:
- Analyze performance and deliver insights on the suite of Uplight products and utility programs to measure effectiveness
- Identify performance trends across and within programs and drivers of difference between programs
- Review, analyze, and present data both visually and orally to key stakeholders to inform business decisions
- Build recurring analytics and reports in support of operational goals
- Identify performance trends across/within programs and drivers of difference between programs
- Create client-facing and operational forecasts related to program performance during all stages of the client lifecycle
- Build models to predict operational outcomes and client performance
- Support portfolio management by providing insights to Uplight stakeholders to inform decisions on operational performance.
- A focus on efficiency, always looking for ways to automate and improve the work
- Deliver ad hoc analytics
- Effectively manage workload with shifting priorities
- Work collaboratively across teams including but not limited to Finance, Account Management, Operations, and Implementation
What you bring to Uplight:
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of curiosity - asks the right questions to draw insights from the data.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills: proficiency in using data visualization to tell a story
- Comfortable making decisions and recommendations in the absence of perfect data and in the presence of ambiguity and unknown
- Strong grasp of foundational statistical and financial concepts
- 3-5 years experience in a professional environment performing and presenting quantitative work to high-level internal and/or external stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging to various levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Strong team player who focuses on solutions, has a spirit of collaboration, and builds trust across teams
- Ability to work collaboratively with people of diverse races, ethnicities, ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations in a multicultural environment
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
Bonus Points
- Technical competency in scripting language (e.g. python)
- Familiarity with Data Bricks, Jira software

Salary Range: $68,000 to $80,000 USD
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
