As Lead Analyst, Operational Strategy, you will be responsible for analytics and reporting used to drive the success of our Sales Department. In this role, you will investigate and implement opportunities for increased efficiency and growth, working closely with department leadership and other functions in the business including Technology, Marketing, Legal, and the Executive Leadership Team. 

In this role you will:

  • Develop efficient solutions to unique problems.
  • Analyze monthly performance metrics, identify trends and patterns in the data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
  • Assist with the creation, development, and maintenance of team dashboards to organize data, report results, and drive future growth.
  • Own daily/weekly/monthly/yearly operational reporting and executive dashboards.
  • Maintain and improve systems and the quality of the data in these programs.
  • Contribute to, and help enhance, the business unit’s operating model.
  • Provide analysis on performance incentives and what behaviors we should be tying to variable compensation to improve results.
  • Develop/design incentive compensation plans and own monthly calculation of the department’s variable compensation.
  • Make recommendations to company leadership on process or system improvements and own implementation of projects.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, finance, operations, or analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience evaluating unique problems, collaboratively creating solutions, drafting project plans and delivering effective new business processes.
  • Ability to build long-lasting relationships with key contacts at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-starter, confident, with strong attention to detail and an ability to apply your analytical mind to solving problems.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, nested IF statements, index match, etc.), PowerPoint, and other related tools.
  • Proficient with common analytics and/or sales software such as Salesforce and/or Tableau.
