Leveraging data throughout every step in the homebuilding process is critical to achieving Homebound’s mission.  We are looking for a passionate business intelligence leader that is excited about the challenge of going from “zero to one” and from “one to N” on all things data and BI. This individual will be a key driver for  scaling analytics and data-driven decision making at Homebound. Responsibilities:

• Nurture, support, challenge, and improve upon Homebound’s technology culture
• Be the leading voice in promoting a data-driven culture, where consumable data informs daily decision making across the entire organization
• Build and drive the business intelligence and analytics roadmap
• Design and maintain best-in-class data workflows, standards, and visualizations 
• Perform complex analyses and deliver/defend data-driven recommendations to cross functional leaders
• Help recruit and mentor a growing team of leading data professionals

What You Have Done In Your Career:

• 5+ years of professional industry experience in business intelligence, data analytics, analytics engineering, and working with self-service BI tools 
• Experience driving projects from ideation to production including gathering requirements, wrangling data sources, and presenting results to stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in driving adoption of data and analytics products at company wide scale.
• Experience building strong cross functional relationships and translating unique business challenges into actionable dashboards and data products.
• Expertise within the Looker platform (Models, Explores, Views, Dashboards, Performance, Etc.)
• Experience with modern data analysis tools like SQL, DBT, Airflow, and GitHub
• Experience working within a cloud-based infrastructure, ideally AWS 
• Experience as a tech and/or team lead
