We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to join our team and work closely with clients to deliver high-quality data solutions. In this role, you will initially focus on one client for the first 6 months before expanding to work with multiple clients. You will collaborate with other data engineers on projects and contribute to the development of ETL pipelines, data architecture, and data cleansing processes.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and deploy ETL pipelines to move data from various sources to storage solutions such as data warehouses and data lakes.

- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide cost-effective solutions.

- Create architecture diagrams, evaluate alternative solutions, and make recommendations based on business needs.

- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment to enhance data quality and usability.

- Develop documentation for data architecture, process flows, and data dictionaries to ensure consistency and maintainability.

- Provide training and support to client technical teams.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of experience in data engineering.

- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Java, Scala, etc.).

- Experience with ETL tools, orchestration solutions, and data warehouses such as Airbyte, Airflow, BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.

- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure management is a plus.

- Understanding of data modeling and data structures.

- Strong CI/CD skills.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
