Job Description

inMarket is seeking a talented, and motivated, Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science team. You will help scale and increase efficiency of our business operations, while consistently working towards improving the experience for our clients. 

You will help develop and maintain machine learning models to solve business problems for an advertising technology company.  You will partner with stakeholders across the organization, understand their current and future analytical goals and deliver scalable solutions to meet their needs. You should have a learning mindset and be passionate about bringing large datasets together to answer business questions and provide recommendations based on data and metrics.

What You’ll Do:

You will develop and maintain Machine Learning techniques including regression, classifications, unsupervised learning and Natural Language Processing to advance the competitive edge of inMarket Media.

Responsibilities:

• Build and Productionize models in AWS and GCP
• Ingest, Clean and Design ML solutions for both structured and unstructured data
• Recommend improvements to our existing processes including our bidding algorithm
• Understand security and costs of cloud technologies and make recommendations to the best solution for different circumstances
• Apply ML/AI solutions for building audience and measurement products
• Participate in the full software development cycle from scoping & design, to development & QA, to deployment & monitoring
• Excellent written and verbal communicator
• Able to explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience proficiently

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of work experience as a ML Engineer, Data Scientist, Engineer, Statistician, Mathematician or relevant STEM/Analytic experience
• Solid understanding of ML and Statistical concepts including trade offs of various types of models
• Expert in SQL, Python and Sklearn
• Comfortable with distributed learning and Petabyte scale data analyses
• Experience working in AWS (S3, EC2, Redshift) and GCP (BigQuery, Google Storage, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, etc.)
• Excel in extracting insights from data and data visualization
• Bachelor degree in a STEM or related discipline

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in an adTech environment
• Knowledge in Marketing and Mobile Advertising Analytics
• Experience with Spark, AWS EMR, GCP AI Platform or similar frameworks is a plus
• Master degree in a STEM or related discipline
