Machine Learning Engineer:
We’d love you to bring:
- Currently enrolled in or have completed a Master’s or Ph.D. program in a relevant field
- Candidates about to complete a Bachelor’s degree will be considered with demonstrated ML experience
- Programming experience in Python and Tensorflow/PyTorchExperience building ML solutions and experimenting to improve ML system performance
- A desire to build cool cutting edge ML tech
- Strong understanding of probability and machine learning
- Self-motivation, and ability to work independently as well as with a remote team
- Belief in creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices and programs that will further Knock’s commitment to making an impact, learning, putting people first, being open, and courageous

As a Machine Learning Engineer, your journey will look like this:
Week 1: you will begin learning about our machine learning models.
Week 2: you will have a reasonably scoped machine learning project to dive into, enabling you to demonstrate your skills and have an impact immediately.
During your journey, you’ll have an opportunity to engage with not only other machine learning engineers and data scientists, but also members of the engineering and product teams. In the process, you’ll gain a better understanding of how our pricing models impact Knock’s operations and ultimately the customer. You will have access to all our data and AWS computing resources to query, explore, and train models using the data using any programming language and packages you feel you prefer. But most importantly, you’ll have the time and space to experiment, read academic literature, develop new skills, and learn about existing methodologies that may contribute to advancing Knock’s machine learning technology!
