Who We’re Looking For

For the position, we’re looking for a collaborative organizational builder to lead a team of software engineers. Across all roles, we look for future team members who will live our values of Collaboration, Inspired, Steadfast, Courageous, and Excellence.

  • Work closely across engineering and product to enable the team to deliver high impact functionality and hit dates committed to on the roadmap
  • Coach and work closely with engineers to empower them to be the best versions of themselves. You will need to find the right balance between creating the space for them to do their best work, and coaching and developing new skills.
  • Recruit and onboard new engineers
  • Improve our delivery processes to increase accuracy of estimation, reliability of delivery, and velocity of execution
  • Help manage and create vendor relationships that enable the engineering team to deliver quality software quickly
  • Learn and apply knowledge about the drug discount space, and become a subject matter expert for internal teams to draw upon

General Experience Guidelines

We know your experience extends beyond what you have on paper. The following is a guideline of general experience we’re looking for in this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field
  • 4+ years experience as a Software Engineer in a professional full-time role
  • 2+ years experience leading an engineering team
  • Experience leading recruiting initiatives, as well as growing and organizing engineering teams.
  • Understand and design for non-functional concerns such as performance, cost optimization, and maintainability
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for requirements analysis, debugging, and risk assessment
  • Strong command of SQL

Set Yourself Apart

  • Hands on experience with dbt, Snowflake, Python, Azure, or Azure Data Factory
  • Experience leading teams at startups or other fast growing organizations
  • Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries
