As a Managing Director/Partner in our Data Engineering and Analytics practice, you will join a Leadership Team focused on cultivating teams that leverage data to unlock actionable insights for our clients, while mentoring the next generation of data engineers at West Monroe. This role entails significant responsibility in shaping and delivering our team’s vision; candidates should be passionate about what they do and be prepared to embrace West Monroe’s fast-growing and entrepreneurial environment.

This leadership role will have three areas of responsibility:

 Practice Development

  • Collaborate with national and local leadership within Data Engineering & Analytics practice and across West Monroe’s industry and functional practices, to develop and deliver multi-disciplinary, data-driven offerings
  • Actively lead innovation activities, often in partnership with industry and functional experts and data engineers, to expand and enhance West Monroe’s Data Engineering and Analytics solutions and capabilities
  • Lead, mentor and grow consultants and actively participate in the career advisory and performance management process
  • Actively participate in recruiting and retaining top talent

 Client Delivery

  • Lead teams serving clients across industries while demonstrating executive presence with high level client counterparts. 
  • Provide quality assurance and conduct frequent touch bases with client executives to ensure value is realized and understood from our engagements
  • Work with program and project leadership to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions
  • Manage and influence multi-disciplinary teams to translate client business objectives into data and analytics solutions
  • Develop and deploy data-driven offerings and accelerators focused on addressing industry-specific challenges

 Business Development

  • Engage with business partners across the firm to identify and cross sell opportunities
  • Cultivate new and existing client development opportunities
  • Understand investment needs and requirements and help turn those goals into concrete engagements and detailed proposals
  • Attend networking events and actively build and leverage a professional network and affiliate network in the local community 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15-18 years participating in a team-based, client-facing business and digital consulting services
  • Extensive ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members, foster a productive team environment, and coach staff with timely meaningful written and verbal feedback
  • Prior experience growing and managing digital consulting services by leading a practice, service line or equivalent
  • Extensive experience selling and delivery Data Engineering and Cloud Services work with a track record of sales growth
  • Desired experience in one of our core industries such as Energy & Utilities, High-Tech and Software, or Financial Services
  • An active professional network in industries and corporate decision maker
  • Strong communication skills to be able to work with clients and present to C-level executives
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel, as required based on client and practice demands

Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is $290K-370K.. Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here.  Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.​ Employees in proximity of our Seattle, Washington DC, Los Angeles, New York, and San Francisco offices will have a geographic premium applied to this salary scale. 

Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, purchase shares from our employee stock ownership program and be eligible to receive annual bonuses. Employees will also receive unlimited flexible time off and ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
