Responsibilities:

  • Develop customized data governance organizations, procedures, and policies that support a client’s corporate, IT, and data strategies
  • Design data governance programs that cover client-relevant aspects of data management that could include data quality, master data management, metadata management, data asset management, data project portfolio management (identification, prioritization, valuation, ROI, execution, etc.), data security, etc.
  • Collaborate with other consultants to address organizational change management, communication planning, and training
  • Help clients select and implement technologies to support the data governance design
  • Design and implement strategies to monitor the effectiveness of data governance programs

Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing data governance programs and knowledge of applicable standard methodologies, concepts, best practices, and procedures
  • 3+ years of hands-on professional experience and/or consulting experience
  • Experience with data governance tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend, Profisee, etc. 
  • Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Quality, as well as working with Data Stewards to ensure strong data best practices
  • A desire to run projects and contribute to the strategy competence for West Monroe
  • Understanding and ability to lead a technical engagement (although not necessarily hands on)
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • A natural sense of urgency, initiative and a positive team player philosophy to be reflected in daily work ethics
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent professional experience

Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices (see table below). Information on our competitive total rewards package, including our bonus structure and benefits is here.  Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.
