Job Description
The Metrics & Reporting Analyst is responsible for supporting the business in decision making and customer service efforts by providing business intelligence services. This role is responsible for acting as a liaison between technology and business partners and converting data into meaningful and actionable reporting products.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the collection of reporting requirements through intake and prioritization sessions
- Recommend quality and system improvements by analyzing the data issues, maintaining and enhancing data iteration processes, and collaborating with system owners to improve upstream processes
- Create, maintain, and improve new and existing reporting solutions as required by the business
- Facilitate team request intake sessions to collect reporting requirements and determine project prioritization
- Manage a designated group of internal and external clients on behalf of the metrics and reporting team
- Collect, validate, interpret, and organize various types of data into meaningful reports and/or summaries for designated client groups
- Use statistical analysis and best practices to identify risks and opportunities and define reporting solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business intelligence, reporting analysis/ development, data analysis, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 2 years of experience in metrics and reporting
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – ability to create complete formulas and efficient data manipulation.
- Intermediate troubleshooting skills, including in-depth client data research, which may involve research and drivers of utilization; understands resources needed and steps/processes on how to complete the problem; able to understand when an issue arises how-to navigate to a resolution
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with report generating technologies (like Cognos, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Tableau, etc.)
- Prior experience with data consolidation and modeling
- Experience with writing SQL queries
- Prior PBM experience or experience working with medical claims, pharmacy claims, healthcare and/or benefits data
- Experience in the implementation of quality process improvement efforts
- Experience documenting requirements, creating training materials and working directly with end users
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access tools in addition to familiarity with other reporting technologies

Reporting Structure
- Reports to a Manager or Director in Ops WFM Reporting & Analytics or Supply Chain
Potential pay for this position ranges from $57,600.00 - $86,800.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
