Senior Pricing Analyst - Remote

Job Description

The Senior Pricing Analyst participates in the assessment of value generated by Prime’s programs and leverages this insight to contribute to the development of new or enhanced pricing strategies. Will also lead high-complexity pricing analyses, and provide consultation and analytic insight to internal and external stakeholders.

•    Responsible for the development of methodologies, models, and reports to support Prime’s pricing programs
•    Creates, reports, and constructs projections for Prime’s Financial Value Statement

•    Monitors and analyzes contractual and financial obligations and recommends pricing adjustments when needed to meet strategic, contractual, or regulatory obligations
•    Tracks and holds responsibility for financial data analysis of pricing and/or underwriting initiatives to project cost, rate changes and/or trends
•    Build and maintain models in support of pricing and profitability analyses functions
•    May be responsible for recurring financial and pricing analysis and reporting in support of internal and/or external client initiatives
•    Research and document the current pricing in place as well as the development of recommended pricing for designated line of business
•    Research current market pricing to recommend changes to programs and/or processes. 
•    Improve accuracy of pricing and profitability analysis by applying this competitive intelligence to pricing practices and SOPs.
•    Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business, related field, or equivalent work experience
•    5 years of work experience in pricing or financial analysis
•    3 years experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), claims processing, healthcare, and/or related field

•    Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa residency sponsorship
 

Additional Qualifications
•    Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and Access
•    Proven knowledge of spreadsheets and database management tools and detailed experience working with databases to retrieve and analyze data
•    Ability to present complex data to a wide variety of audiences at all levels within an organization

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Intermediate knowledge GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
•    Basic to intermediate SQL coding skills
•    Advanced pricing and profitability modeling experience

Physical Job Requirements:
•    Ability to work in a flexible schedule which may include weekends, holidays, or shifts outside of Prime’s core business hours of 9:00am-3:00pm
•    Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
•    Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
•    Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
•    Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

Reporting Structure:
Reports to Director Pharmacy Network Pricing in the Network Management

Potential pay for this position ranges from $83,900.00 - $125,900.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
