About the job

The Pricing Analyst is needed to support the Twilio Communications Business Unit. As the Pricing Analyst, you have a demonstrated track record of excellence in overseeing and conducting analysis to impact results. You will act as a critical teammate, tackling operational challenges and creating analyses for fast-moving strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • You will create and iterate on pricing models to capture and maintain market share while focusing on profitability
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • You will be responsible for reporting and forecasting weekly and monthly P&L
  • Analytical rigor and strategic thinking are a must, but you’ll also need to get your hands dirty to drive real, sustainable impact
  • Partner closely with other Twilio teams to identify new revenue and GP opportunities

Required:

  • 3+ years relevant experience in FP&A, biz ops, revenue strategy, strategy consulting, and/or operations.
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau (or another business intelligence tool) required
  • Energized by a dynamic, high-growth environment; resilient in the face of challenges
  • Track record of making recommendations, not only executing against a pre-established roadmap
  • Solid understanding of unit economics and its dynamics
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics

Desired:

  • Deep experience working with telecom companies, including aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms.
  • Domain expertise from a highly quantitative industry such as advertising optimization, investment banking, security or commodity trading especially in non-standard segments.
  • Software, SaaS, CPaas or PaaS pricing experience.

Location 

  • This role will be remote, and based in the United States.
  • Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $82,080.00 - $102,600.00.
  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $86,880.00 - $108,600.00.
  • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $96,480.00 - $120,600.00.
  • All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
