The Operational Analytics department within Global Retail Markets U.S. Insights & Solutions is actively searching for a highly motivated Analyst to join our team. This role will identify key drivers for trends, provide data driven recommendations and design efficient operation and compensation structures. The ideal candidate possesses advanced analytical abilities and will be able to work collaboratively & independently. This role will report to the Manager, Business Analysis (Strategic Partnership Group) within the Global Retail Markets U.S. Operational Analytics department.

In addition to the responsibilities below, you will:

  • Evaluate and analyze results relative to expectation; understand, explain and communicate variances, and adapt solutions to reflect emerging insights.
  • Identify and analyze key drivers of sales/operational trends countrywide and at the agency/state level.
  • Partner with colleagues to identify, design, quantify, and implement process/tech improvements.
  • Manage aspects of moderate to complex projects and ad hoc requests to support sales/operational goals.
  • Develop, update, and monitor reports or SAS queries that provide insights on our key performance indicators while supporting Senior Technical Professionals in completing their analyses.
  • Present solutions and recommendations to senior leadership and other cross-functional partners through effective story telling and compelling contextualized analysis.
  • Migrate regularly scheduled reports to the reporting teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducts high complexity analysis for a particular business unit/function.
  • Manages low to moderately complex projects, while providing technical and analytical assessments of issues facing the business.
  • Utilizes more advanced statistical techniques to solve business problems. May regularly utilize, update and adapt predictive modeling tools and/or focus on the application of the tools.
  • May develop analytic tools used by others to do their jobs more effectively and guide decision-making.
  • Answers complex questions by synthesizing data from diverse sources.
  • Manages one or more complex research projects.
  • Presents findings / recommendations which impact profitability, growth, and/or customer satisfaction.
  • May lead discussions with senior leadership at the department or functional level.
