Job Description:

As a Principal Analyst on the Pluralsight Flow team, you will enable software delivery intelligence by architecting how we measure both business and product performance to enable insight that allows us to build and grow a product that delivers on its promise to our customers. You will report to the VP BizOps (responsible for Revenue Ops, Analytics, and Program Management) and work together closely with our revenue and product leaders.

What you own:

  • Our business and product’s performance measurement objectives in partnership with the rest of the BizOps team

  • Parts of our product’s product roadmap and vision, in partnership with product management, to define how and what software development metrics we should and could deliver

  • Our suite of internal data products: reports, dashboards and other parts of our BI stack that enable the right latency of intelligence at the right time throughout Flow’s organization

  • Our business reporting cadence: how, when and to whom we deliver results of our performance objectives.

Experience you’ll need:

Your years of experience as a leading data scientist, data or product analyst at high growth software companies have prepared you for this role. Technically trained, inquisitive, and an excellent communicator, you care about translating analytical insights into operational decision making and have a track record of working on high impact opportunities that move the needle.  

  • Past experience leading through the influence of your quantitative insights that have translated into key growth strategies for the companies you’ve been a part of 

  • Proven track record of using your work to inform Product and business priorities or having shipped your ideas directly to production

  • Excellent technical, business and organizational acumen that enables you to lead a group of data scientist, data or product analysts by example  

  • Expert level familiarity with a diverse set of Cloud data management platforms and BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc)

  • Full familiarity with different SaaS subscription business models and an understanding of software development lifecycle

  • Expertise in SQL and statistical programming languages (Python, R, etc) for computing on data
