You will be part of a centralized data analytics community that encourages collaborations, learning opportunities, and thought partnership from other analysts and data scientists. You will partner with CRM Performance Marketing team and other cross-functional stakeholders to grow the programs such as Email through improving our understanding of email performance drivers. You will be responsible for creating the quarterly forecast, accounting for past performance, current trends, seasonality, etc. In addition, this person will analyze campaign performance and overall program KPIs and trends, investigate key business questions, and provide planning support.

What you will do:

  • Serve as data and analytics platform expert and process owner, leader, and motivator on a cross-functional CRM team. 
  • Answer measurement and data integration questions: define analytics approach, retrieve, and manipulate data needed to perform analysis, and deliver actionable insights to Marketing Management team. 
  • Create and share out weekly reports to clearly communicate Email channel and campaign performance. Identify trends and draw insights and test results to help guide future planning. Dig into the category performance and drivers. 
  • Manage periodical performance reporting to tell the story of how the Email channel is performing. Includes weekly reporting for category-level drivers of performance. 
  • Develop quarterly Email forecasts at both the tops down and bottoms up levels. This includes forecasting revenue, orders, traffic weekly, quarterly and by business line.  
  • Collaborate with Marketing managers in developing reporting automation, experimentation, and workflows.  
  • Provide recommendations to strengthen the Email program and campaign strategy, as needed.  
  • Passionate about driving data literacy and building a positive learning environment around analytics, data science, and data visualization topics. Actively looks to mentor junior analysts and provide constructive feedback, guidance, and thought leadership. 

What you will bring

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise documents and lead cross-functional meetings effectively.  
  • Strong knowledge of A/B testing analysis and tools, test design best practices, and advanced understanding of concepts in probability and statistic 
  • Working knowledge of experimentation design, digital media, attribution (MMM or/and MTA) 
  • Curious about what drives business trends. Understanding of standard eCommerce and cross-channel performance marketing metrics. Demonstrated capacity to learn on the fly. 
  • Excel power user; Proficient with SQL; Experience working with enterprise data visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, Lookr with large and complicated datasets.  
  • Detail oriented with ability to independently validate and triangulate data and analysis. 
  • A self-starter who takes ownership of their domain and establishes processes to organize requests into a manageable workflow. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines. 
  • Knowledge of journey/1st party targeting. CDP and Martech knowledge as a plus. 
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in quantitative field and 7+ years of progressive experience in an analytical role. Email and CRM marketing experience a plus.

The compensation package for this role is based on multiple factors, such as job level, responsibilities, location, and candidate experience. The base pay ranges included below are specific to the locations listed and may not be applicable to other locations. California: [$141,200 -$169,750] Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island: [$141,200 - $155,800] Colorado and Washington: [$141,200 - $131,900] Nevada: [$112,100 - $155,800] This position may be eligible for a bonus incentive, health benefits, a 401K program, and other employee perks.
