About the job
As a Principle, Flex Go-To-Market Strategy & Analytics (GTMSA) Business Partner, you will be the primary business partner to the Partner and Indirect Sales organizations in addition to being a primary stakeholder driving feedback loops to the R&D teams. You have a demonstrated track record of excellence in developing command of GTM business strategy, overseeing and conducting insightful analysis, influencing strategic thinking, designing new business processes, project management, and cross functional partnership across GTM, R&D, and Finance.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Be a dedicated partner to Flex’s Partner and Indirect Sales teams. Identify the systemic elements of issues (connections, dependencies, etc) and ensure teams have reliable means to gather information.
- Lead the strategic and operational planning processes for your supported business areas. Direct the operating cadences, key metrics, interlocks, OKR’s, ROE’s
- Leading transformational cross-functional strategic initiatives driven by your own data analysis. You must get your hands dirty to drive real, sustainable impact. Integrate long term opportunities with the day-to-day activities.
- Craft and execute key work streams in annual planning and in-year planning revisions inclusive of data collection supporting ad hoc requests from Executive Leadership. Drive thoughtful and crisp quarterly business reviews with clear outcomes and owners.
- Mentor other team members. You may have direct reports within your first year.
- Collaborate closely with business owners across functions, fully immerse yourself in data, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations.
- Will become a trusted and indispensable business partner to GTM leadership, and play a critical role scaling the company’s rapidly growing go-to-market organization by communicating recommendations to senior executives, rolling up your sleeves to help drive implementation, and handling the ongoing impact of the recommendations put forth.
- Help build business processes from scratch, or redesign business processes for automation, self-serve, and/or greater scalability. Analytical rigor and strategic thinking are a must.

Required:
- 10+ Experience working in/with the technology SaaS industry and resulting familiarity with key metrics and processes in a business strategy & operations or strategy consulting capacity.
- Expert at using, enhancing and analyzing data to derive insights that inform strategy in a crisp and thoughtful manner.
- Thrive at structured critical thinking, analytical processing, problem-solving, synthesizing ideas, and written and verbal communication.
- Can ruthlessly prioritize fast-moving strategic priorities, tackle operational challenges, and manage through hyper-growth.
- Naturally and perpetually curious, a solution oriented thinker & a builder at heart
- Are resilient and adaptive with a high EQ. A good sense of humor is a plus!
- Have experience (if not fluency) with Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, Airtable, Anaplan (or other planning tools)
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years' of experience
Desired:
- Experience / expertise with analytics approaches like SQL including the ability to extract data from databases, blend data within / across databases
- Experience accessing data, configuring data and building visualizations in Tableau or Analytics Studio

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

Based in Colorado: $176,080.00 - $220,100.00.

Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $186,480.00 - $233,100.00.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $207,120.00 - $258,900.00.
- This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
