Our first product (Aim Lab) is a personalized, AI-powered analytics and training platform for competitive gamers and Esports athletes. Aim Lab has well over a million users and the best user community in the whole wide world (we may be biased).
Our team consists of scientists, designers, engineers, and game industry vets coming together from places like NYU, MTV, NASA, Yale, Nintendo, and the NFL. The Product Manager - Data Platform Role
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead one of our key strategic pillars. You’ll drive our efforts to build a world-class data platform, capable of ingesting and analyzing aim and gameplay data from a wide range of data sources -- including Aim Lab, our industry-leading FPS/TPS aim trainer. It’s an opportunity to build a foundational piece of our company that heavily impacts our future.
Key Responsibilities
- You’ll develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Data Platform team, working alongside cross-functional peers and stakeholders.
- You’ll drive enhancements, initiatives, and experiments from start to finish by writing specs, driving cross-functional execution, making smart product decisions, and sharing learnings and results throughout the company.
- You’ll become an expert in aim training and gameplay data for popular FPS/TPS games, identifying user needs and opportunities by talking to users, collecting feedback from cross-functional teammates, analyzing data, and studying our competition.
- You’ll take a data-driven, outcomes-oriented approach, using metrics to monitor and improve key funnels.
Ideal Skills
- Depth of experience leading data-driven products. You can turn high-level themes and rough ideas into defined projects and a roadmap of features, experiments, and research with minimal guidance.
- A track record of consistently delivering measurable results for users and impacting the companies you work for. You collaborate with others to make things happen, bringing organization to chaos and complexity.
- A data-driven mindset. You know your products, their funnels, and how to measure long-term impact. You can design, run, and interpret experiments and A/B tests. You probably know some SQL.
- Above average technical knowledge. You’ve written code and understand systems at a high level.
- Impeccable follow-through. You make commitments and meet them. You don’t let details slip, and hold others to this standard.
- You listen. You build consensus by default, but can drive hard decisions when needed. You push things forward. People love working with you.
