About the Role

Vidyard is looking for a Product Operations Analyst to join our Growth team. Reporting to the Director, Growth you will be responsible for enabling our experimentation with Product-Led Growth. You will bring operational rigor to the Growth team and play a critical role in building the experimentation infrastructure that will help us drive user acquisition, activation, retention and monetization.

This is a remote role open to candidates located in Canada.

About the Team

Our Growth team is an autonomous organization that is responsible for accelerating Vidyard’s investments in Product-Led Growth and Self-Service, by rapidly experimenting across the user lifecycle. Our cross-functional team is staffed with Data, Engineering, Design and Marketing talent, and we’re responsible for delivering high-impact experiments that tangibly improve our users’ experience with our products. We’re passionate about A/B testing and validating hypotheses with data, as well as about maintaining high standards of software quality and performance. We collaborate with teams across all parts of the business to drive user acquisition, engagement, retention and monetization.

What You’ll Work On

  • Identify existing gaps in the Growth team’s experimentation infrastructure and work with cross functional teams to identify and implement solutions
  • Work closely with our Marketing automation team and act as a key stakeholder in our evaluation of a PLG lifecycle email software
  • Be closely aligned with our Business Operations and Analytics team and act as their primary point of contact for all of the Growth team’s experimentation infrastructure and tools
  • Be a deep expert in the user and customer data the Growth team would need to leverage to run successful experiments, and have a vision for how that data should integrate with our existing systems and tools
  • Act as the owner for all self-service experimentation tools the Growth team leverages, such as Visual Website Optimizer (VWO), Candu and Appcues
  • Streamline operational workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability of successful Growth experiments
  • Identify opportunities for automation and implement tools to improve data accuracy
  • Leverage Salesforce, Marketo and Looker for Growth team experiments. You’ll occasionally find yourself building emails in Marketo, or pulling reports from Salesforce or Looker.

As a Product Operations Analyst You Can Expect to:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product-led growth, and new tools that help PLG businesses automate workflows and experiment faster
  • Do things that “don’t scale” but use the learnings to implement successful, scalable solutions once an experiment has been validated
  • Play a critical role in accelerating Vidyard’s PLG and self-service motion
  • Experiment fast, and learn even faster
  • Gain hands-on experience across our funnel, from acquisition to retention
  • Be an expert in Growth Ops, but occasionally wear the hat of a Growth Marketer and Data Analyst

What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team:

  • 2+ years of experience in Growth or Marketing operations for a SaaS business
  • Excellent data analysis skills: you’re comfortable working with tools such as Looker and Heap to build dashboards and analyze data. SQL experience is a plus
  • The ability to zoom out and see the bigger picture. You’re an ops expert, but you can understand and empathize with marketers, designers, engineers etc. and bring great Growth ideas to the table
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for working with cross-functional teams and learning from the people in them
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and learn new things every day
  • Marketo experience is a strong plus
  • Comfort with failure: you focus on learning from failures versus being demotivated by them
  • A passion for all things Product-Led Growth

Our Tech Stack

  • Heap
  • Looker
  • LaunchDarkly
  • Visual Website Optimizer
  • Marketo
  • Google Analytics
  • SendGrid
  • Clearbit
