In this position, we are looking for an experienced Growth Analyst who can lead technical initiatives and be a mentor to a team of Growth Analysts. While this is primarily a technical position, requiring an interest in understanding the details of our data model, there is an opportunity to manage up to 3-4 Analysts.

As a leader in the Strategy & Analytics team, you will:

  • Mentor/Lead/Manage a team of product growth analysts and function as the primary analytics partner for the product team
  • Partner with the Product team, and other areas of the business, to cultivate data-driven decision making and support pivotal organizational wide PLG projects (e.g. Pricing & Packaging, Self-serve monetization, etc.)
  • Develop and scope analytics initiatives that will help identify new opportunities for monetization and growth in the business
  • Lead key X-functional projects including deep dive insights and analytics reports, real-time dashboards and regression / data science initiatives
  • Become a center for institutional knowledge by developing a deep understanding of Vidyard’s key business metrics and data model
  • Inform product experimentation by (a) forecasting potential growth and project impact and (b) recommending testing best practices regarding audience segmentation, cohort size and required time to achieve statistically significance
  • Interpret data, analyze initiative performance using statistical techniques, and provide functional and executive level dashboards and reports

To be effective in this role, the following skills are valuable:

  • 5+ years B2B and/or B2C experience in product growth analytics at a technology company
  • Experience managing or as a technical lead of an analytics team is a bonus 
  • Comfortable with statistics and experience supporting product teams with experiments / testing of new features and customer interactions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent SQL skills and fluency with BI/visualization tools (E.g. Google Looker,) R, and Python 
  • Experience with DBT, LookML and Data Science is a bonus
  • Experience in working with large data sets and distributed computing tools (ie. Redshift.) 
  • Working knowledge of the marketing and sales funnel, customer journeys, onboarding and engagement initiatives, AB testing and automation tools
  • Solid track record of taking a proactive approach, producing marketing analytics and delivering in sprints cycles
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally with product teams as well as marketing, sales, customer success and finance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate effectively across multiple management levels
