Opportunity Overview:

We are looking for a Product Strategy Data Analyst to help drive critical business, product, and investment decisions by deeply understanding and analyzing the value we deliver to payers, providers, and most importantly to patients.  Reporting to the VP of Product Strategy, this role will help inform the decisions we make, conducting analyses of complex multi-faceted problems.  Ultimately, the work you do will have a direct impact on the growth of the company and our ability to impact patients at a time in their healthcare journey when they need help most.

What you will do:

• Conduct and build data analyses to answer key business, product, market, and operational questions leveraging data tools such as Tableau, Excel, SQL, etc.
• Synthesize findings into actionable insights for key stakeholders, including executive audiences
• Measure and deeply understand Cohere’s value propositions; identify new opportunities to drive value and drive further business efficiencies
• Support development of pricing, ROI analysis, and KPI analysis for clients to measure and understand client performance, and assist in quantification of client growth opportunities
• Support evaluation of partnerships; building models to understand financial, operational, and product performance
• Support analyses to quantify product market size for new business opportunities

Your competencies:

• Great at understanding, manipulating, and synthesizing data, thorough and rigorous in analyses
• Data wizard; highly proficient leveraging Excel, BI tools, and languages such as SQL to solve data driven problems
• Strong grasp of business finance and business strategy; practical by nature
• Strong communicator, capable of articulating findings simply
• Excellent at distilling signal from noise;  Capable of quickly synthesizing large amounts of information to the root of what is actually going on
• Self-directed, confident, and thrive working in a fast-paced startup environment

Your background:

• 3+ years of experience in analytical roles working in top-tier consulting, big-tech, finance / investment, engineering, or healthcare analytics roles

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, STEM, Statistics, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience with Excel modeling such as financial or operational modeling
• Experience with Tableau 
• Understanding of healthcare data a plus, but not required
• Passionate about improving the U.S. healthcare system and helping ensure every patient receives the best care possible
