The Technology Data Science & Data Governance team is looking for an energetic and highly motivated Technology Data Governance Analyst (DGA) program lead to join us at an exciting time as we embark on the journey to ensure scalable, objective data governance best practices are in place and verified through applied practice and collaboration. You will become a key member of the Technology DSDG team and have a central role enabling and otherwise collaborating closely with Data Stewards to follow the guidelines related to data governance, cataloging and classification and ensure clear accountability. You will be responsible for training this emerging community of practice while deploying key Data Governance processes that pertain to consumption of data assets. In addition, you will have a key role working with various stakeholders across the organization to achieve the goals defined in the data governance strategies.

Develops and manages rules and policies to ensure the availability, usability, consistency, integrity, and security of critical data in the enterprise. Under limited direction, works within significant limits and authority on assignments of higher technical complexity and coordination. Possesses demonstrated technical knowledge and skills, including product and industry. Provides guidance and assistance to lower level associates and other functional areas.

Responsibilities

(1)Executes on the established data governance framework with limited direction. (2) Create and manage data governance workflows in accordance with the governance framework. (3) Subject matter expert for master data management; metadata management; and data governance operations. (4) Develop and maintain key documentation, user guides, and other necessary training documents. (5) Support a broad base of users of data ensuring relationships with customers meet expectations. (6) Solve moderately complex data governance problems creatively and within the framework. (7) Works with stakeholders to define metrics that are impactful for the business. (8) Maintains close working relationship with data providers and partners, partnering with IT to collaborate on deliverables. (9) Helps drive cross-team design and development of sustainable data driven solutions that meet the needs of the business customers through technical leadership and mentoring.
