Cohere Health is illuminating healthcare for patients, their doctors, and all those who are important in a patient’s healthcare experience, both in and out of the doctors office.  Founded in August, 2019, we are obsessed with eliminating wasteful friction patients and doctors experience in areas that have nothing to do with health and treatment, particularly for diagnoses that require expensive procedures or medications.  To that end, we build software that is expressly designed to ensure the appropriate plan of care is understood and expeditiously approved, so that patients and doctors can focus on health, rather than payment or administrative hassles.

Opportunity Overview:

This is a great opportunity for an outstanding analyst to go in-house at a Series B digital health company and learn what it takes to show the value of our products and services.  You will work closely with Customer Success, Service Operations, Product, Clinical and Engineering teams to support decision-making, and will dig into a wide range of strategic, product, and clinical problems.  The work will be fast-paced and project-based, with evolving needs - requiring scrappiness, flexibility, curiosity, and grace under pressure.  Your work will enable Cohere to make the right investments in a critical stage for our company.  

This role offers the potential to grow at Cohere in analytics, or potentially move into other areas such as data science, operations or product. You will contribute to healthcare analytics to meet quality, cost and service objectives with your knowledge of statistical analysis including clinical and financial risk tracking, models to impact experience, cost, quality, and opportunity analysis. What you will do:

  • Understand Cohere’s value proposition to clients and providers in order to accurately tell stories using data
  • Analytic and reporting support for Client and Provider success teams 
  • Create and maintain client facing reporting in Tableau, excel, powerpoint, and other reporting mediums 
  • Define reporting deliverables for new clients
  • Attend client meetings and act as a data SME
  • Work autonomously to complete projects from ideation to final deliverable
  • Creatively and independently problem solve for business needs using data that may need to be curated through collaboration with engineering and data governance team
  • Be a subject matter expert in Cohere’s external deliverables for new and existing clients
  • Be responsible for both adhoc analysis as well assisting in developing dashboards for internal and external use

Your Background & Requirements:

  • At least 2 years analytical/reporting experience, preferably at a healthcare company or allied health organization
  • Excellent communicator
  • Client facing experience
  • Subject matter expert in data related to healthcare
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel, Elasticsearch, and other common analytic/ data tools
  • Experience and knowledge of Tableau
  • Experience using multiple data sources to automate reporting
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM, public health, finance, economics, or other related field
