Senior Associate, Sales Analyst

The Senior Associate, Sales Analyst will work closely with sales and marketing data to provide valuable and actionable insights to support revenue growth and support a fast-growing sales team with reporting, commissions, etc. Reporting to the Director of Sales Operations, the role will have the opportunity to inform and influence strategic growth decisions. You will play a critical role in helping build the foundation for developing actionable insights to help Alma grow. 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop a deep understanding of how our data is structured and transform raw information (e.g. marketing and sales activities, sales opportunity data) into insights and intuitive data visualization that empower our growth teams to make effective decisions
  • Monitor business performance and present insights and trends
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly growth business reviews
  • Maintain and manage repository of reports and dashboards
  • Take responsibility for analytical projects from intake and ideation to completion in collaboration with sales, marketing, operations, data, and other teams
  • Manage sales compensation reporting and processes in collaboration with Finance
  • Support growth tech stack administration with a focus on data and reporting

Who you are:

  • 2+ years of work experience. Ideal backgrounds may include experience in a growth analytics role at a startup or experience working in consulting, finance, or analytical role
  • Experience interpreting data and applying findings to growth teams (sales, marketing, retention)
  • Experience with cross functional project management 
  • Skilled communicator who can effectively deliver insights 
  • Strong understanding of key revenue drivers
  • Experience with data model development and reporting in data visualization tools in Looker or a similar tool
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Working knowledge of SQL 
  • Experience with revenue tools (e.g. Salesforce, Marketo, Salesloft) preferred

Salary: $100,000
On Target Commission: $10,000
