EquipmentShare is Hiring a Senior Business Analyst
EquipmentShare is searching for a Senior Business Analyst for our corporate office in Columbia, Mo., to support our Business Analytics team as the department continues to grow. This new team member may be based anywhere in the United States and offers a remote/hybrid work option, but must be able to meet with management in person at least quarterly.
EquipmentShare is seeking a Senior Business Analyst. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will use your data expertise to help departments throughout the company with analytics needs. These projects are wide ranging and could include anything from finance and collections to telematics and fleet data.
Primary Responsibilities for a Senior Business Analyst
- Support product leadership team by managing metrics and performing data mining to find quality insights and recommendations for product growth.
- Identify and validate accuracy of product’s Key Performance Indicators and communicate valuable discoveries to stakeholders.
- Partner with others in terms of approach and execution to strengthen decision making as it relates to product focus areas.
- Create reports and dashboards to share results of your findings with members of the product leadership team.
- Understand user behaviors and long term trends in the adoption of our products to identify opportunities for product improvement resulting in growth.

Skills & Qualifications for Senior Business Analyst
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Analytics or Business Analytics role
- 5+ years experience in SQL/R/Python to analyze data along with BI tools (e.g. Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.) to monitor/analyze/deliver insights.
- You've worked with designers and product leaders to build data visualizations which tell meaningful stories, fit for purpose to your audience.
- Excel at communicating to stakeholders and translating data insights into actionable product development plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the Construction or Fleet Management Industry
- Experience working in a SaaS environment
