EquipmentShare is searching for a Senior Financial Analyst for the corporate office in Columbia, Missouri (or remote) to help us drive profitability through data-driven analysis.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying, developing and maintaining the data inputs/sources that enable the indirect and direct tax teams to perform key reporting/compliance/planning functions
  • Responsible for designing and implementing solutions to tax data needs (write and automate queries, etc.)
  • Responsible for identifying roadblocks to scaling and implementing automations to solve for those problems. 
  • May involve coding lightweight web applications for using tools to connect to various data sources
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in the budget and forecasting process
  • Consult on credit, underwriting, and other related question from financial partners
  • Collaborate with other team members to generate material for outside parties that tells the EquipmentShare story

Requirements:

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without Visa sponsorship or an OPT Visa required
  • 5+ years of experience or education focused on data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field
  • Corporate finance exposure: forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, a keen understanding of financial statements and financial data
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience reporting to and working with financial institutions in the debt or equity space preferred
  • SQL and/or Python experience required
  • Financial System/ERP experience required 
  • Experience with low-code development tools such as Microsoft Power Apps preferred
