About the Role:

The Senior Data Analyst ensures strong quality and integrity within data structures and reports that feed critical functions of our internal business community. Your primary role will be to ensure that foundational datasets are sourcing and providing the customers the data they need. This position offers a great opportunity to learn the business, apply your technical skills, work in a collaborative environment, and deliver solutions that enable data driven culture within Quickbase.

You will:

  • Maintain deep expertise in what the data means, ensuring integrity in data and reports that are used for reporting and analysis
  • Code, produce and deliver reports or dashboards, with a focus on automation
  • Partner with data engineers when needed to generate seamless data solutions. Develop detailed requirements and robust testing practices
  • Take ownership of existing processes. Pro-actively develop and implement improvements to enhance and assure efficiency, quality and timeliness
  • Monitor accuracy and integrity of data, flagging and resolving issues as necessary
  • Maintain proper and detailed documentation
  • Communicate effectively with various levels of management throughout the organization including outside business partners, the operations team and/or executive level management
  • Be part of Agile team that delivers iterative analytics solution to various customer stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, Finance, Product and Executive Leadership

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or proven experience in these areas)
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering meaningful results in an environment with complex data structures
  • Experience in data profiling, performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Strong experience writing and interpreting SQL code
  • Experience working within a cloud computing environment, including defining requirements to build data sets and specialized datamarts
  • Experience building dashboards in at least one of the following platforms, Tableau, PowerBI, Thoughtspot etc
  • Extreme attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
