This position is needed to accelerate the growth and efficiency of our marketing efforts. Reporting to the GTM Data Science & Analytics Lead, this position will be working closely with various marketing partners to jointly drive improvements not just at the top-of-funnel, but across our sales motion and marketing landscape.
In this role, you’ll:
Build and maintain robust and reliable internal data pipelines, which generate marketing datasets and power key metrics reporting and dashboards on topics such as marketing spend, campaign attribution, lead acquisition etc
Develop and deliver data modeling and predictive analytics solutions to Marketing and Sales stakeholders
Analyze marketing performance results to generate business insights, inform marketing strategy, and unlock potential value
Be part of a team of data scientists who work across the Go-to-Market functions, while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Paid Marketing, Marketing Strategy and Operations, and Sales

Required:
Strong business acumen and a deep sense of curiosity, with the ability to think creatively about both products and processes
Excellent communications skills, with the ability to synthesize, simplify and explain complex problems to different types of audience, including executives
Well-developed project management skills, with ability to skillfully balance competing interests
Expert level SQL skills and dashboarding skills in tools like Looker or Tableau; proficient in at least one programming language (such as Python or R)
Proficient with statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
Desired:
6+ years of experience working with data analytics and modeling, with at least 2+ years in the marketing domain
BS/MS in a quantitative or technical field
Familiarity with the tools in our current tech stack including dbt Cloud, Looker, Tableau, Salesforce, AWS Sagemaker, Apache Airflow
Location
This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
Based in Colorado: $120,160 - $150,200
Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $127,280 - $159,100
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
