The Data Operations team builds capabilities and practices that support the usage of data across BILL. The team supports stakeholders across the company to understand their needs, collect applicable requirements, develop solutions, solicit feedback, deploy to the data ecosystem, and showcase the result. Engineers on the Data Operations team bring a sense of pragmatic perfectionism, doing their best work every day and delivering quality data products to those whom they support.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in a technical related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience required
• 3+ years experience in a data warehousing role
• 2+ years in financial services and/or SaaS companies
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the SQL variants
• Proficiency in object oriented Python
• Experience in custom ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
• Experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
• Experience with dbt and/or Airflow, and modern data infrastructure practices
• Experience managing system migrations and integrations
