About the job

This role will help track the investments fueling Twilio's GTM strategy, focusing on Sales Finance, Services, and GTM Operations. We need a true business partner in this role - someone who will create an analytical framework to better evaluate the business, build business intelligence infrastructure, develop proactive solutions to help GTM leadership optimize revenue outcomes, and drive continued efficiencies to allow for reinvestment into more productive areas. 

The Senior Manager of Analytics will lead a team of Business Analysts and Data Scientists to develop innovative solutions that help us anticipate and address our customer needs. This will be a highly visible role, partnering with North America GTM Segment leadership to build scalable solutions and extracting insights from big data to identify trends on key business metrics. The role will involve business partnering and special projects requiring detailed modeling to drive decision-making of senior leadership.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Be a representative / voice of Finance Analytics to GTM departments and continuously develop efficient reporting tools to support decision-making.  Provide analytical support to GTM leadership and drive cross-functional business intelligence projects.

  • Lead innovation efforts to develop scaled insights and provide clear direction and guidance to senior sales and GTM leaders.

  • Establish proactive processes and demonstrate ability to operate a scale.

  • Advise senior leadership on key trends and use sound judgment to deal with complexity and make smart tradeoffs.

Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in a progressive analytics role, preferably in a high growth SaaS environment

  • 3+ years leading a team of direct reports.

  • Expert skill level with analytical tools (e.g. Tableau). Experience with Python and SQL

  • Deep understanding of P&L components, unit economics, and common SaaS metrics

  • Strong communication & analytical skills; experience presenting to C-level or equivalent leadership

  • Hiring and developing a high-performing team that is skilled at using Data Science and Machine Learning to address hard problems.

Desired:

  • Experience functioning across a matrixed organization, ensuring availability of high data quality

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field

This role will be remote based in the US

  • The estimated pay range for this role, based in Colorado, is $105,728 - $166,144 

  • Non-Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state. This role is also eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.
