The Role:  

As a Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be the key partner between Marketing and the Revenue Operations teams. You'll help drive success by developing marketing reports and dashboards (SFDC and Looker), as well as using internal and external datasets to drive business objectives for all marketing channels. Utilizing skills such as SQL, Python, and Paid Media Analytics, you will be responsible for collaborating closely with business partners to understand business goals and key initiatives to align data insights, measurements, and reporting capabilities. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Operations, with a dotted line to the VP of Marketing.  

Essential duties and responsibilities:  

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, BI, RevOps, Sales) to define funnel tracking and reporting requirements to support the build of complex marketing datasets 
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Looker that drive insights to improve marketing campaigns and programs  
  • Ensure all marketing dashboards and reports are of highest quality and have been thoroughly validated for accuracy 
  • Train teams on the terminology, definitions and formulas used for key marketing performance metrics and support questions ongoing 
  • Develop comprehensive documentation and enablement paths for the greater business in understanding and leveraging marketing reports, dashboards and data
  • Help develop new user acquisition forecasts based on marketing investment strategy and track performance relative to the goal, identifying root causes of changes in metrics  
  • Utilize multi-channel attribution to inform marketing spend targets, optimize channel mix, and inform creative sequencing  
  • Drive continuous learning by proactively identifying marketing opportunity areas to increase conversion, translating them into structured analysis, generating actionable insights, and advocating for proposed next steps to key stakeholders  
  • Support marketing with statistical and quantitative analyses 

Here's what we're looking for:  

  • 5-7 years of experience working as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar role, with a proven track record of leveraging data to drive insights and optimizations. 
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau, with experience developing reports, dashboards, and visualizations. 
  • Solid understanding of data integration and blending techniques, with the ability to work with disparate data sources and tie them together to provide a holistic view of marketing performance. 
  • Expertise in SQL for data querying and manipulation, along with experience working with large and complex datasets. 
  • Proficient in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to uncover meaningful insights and trends. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations for marketing strategies and campaigns. 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. 
  • Familiarity with marketing technologies, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and web analytics tools is preferred. 

Cash compensation:  

  • The base salary range for this role is $150,000-$170,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
