The Position

We are looking for a Senior Product Managers to lead the product definition and development of Twitter’s knowledge graph tools and Spatial Location Understanding. The product manager supporting knowledge graph tools will pair closely with Twitter’s internal Curation, Recommendations, Search, and Health teams, among many others, to define the future of the knowledge graph’s applications. The product manager supporting Spatial Location Understanding will drive products that try to understand the specific places users are interested in using ML and Geolocation technology which will help product teams cross twitter to identify and deliver the right content and experiences. For both of these roles, you’ll also have the following responsibilities:

• Partner closely with product teams to understand their business goals and  how Twitter’s knowledge graph can address their needs

• Translate customer needs into product and technical requirements

• Contribute to security and privacy perspectives of knowledge graph applications

• Drive clear product definition and roadmap to achieve business goals

• Define and track metrics to measure product quality and business impact

• Communicate product status and impact to customers, stakeholders and leadership

• Collaborate closely with engineers, researchers, data scientists, technical program managers and other product managers 

• Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical partners to explain impact and drive support.

• Evangelize AI/ML/Knowledge Graphs across the firm and promote adoption and enablement of internal customer teams

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in Product Management, or similar role (engineering manager) leading cross-functional product or software engineering teams

• Reasonable technical understanding of ML knowledge and concepts

• Experience in launching products from 0 to 1

• Take leadership and accountability proactively in action and results

• Excellent communication and interpersonal acumen to interact with teammates, executives, customers, and partners.

• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and effectively deliver under uncertainty 

• MBA or Master/PhD degree in Computer Science , Statistics, Data Science or related field

• Experience shipping AI/ML products, preferably focused on editorial content management systems. Geo location, or data management/analytics products
