  • Developed and refined pricing guidelines and policies to maintain competitive advantage and market leadership
  • Maintained a pulse on market dynamics to anticipate changes and forecast their potential impacts on our pricing strategies
  • Stayed updated on industry trends and competitor strategies to ensure our pricing remains proactive and responsive
  • Produce detailed reports and presentations that clearly communicate analytical findings around pricing and strategic recommendations to senior management

You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of market trends, competitive pricing, and customer segmentation to uncover strategic pricing opportunities for Komodo’s SaaS & Platform products
  • Conduct detailed evaluations of competitor product offerings to identify market trends, pricing strategies, and potential areas for competitive advantage.
  • Gather data on pricing structures, promotional tactics, and product positioning from direct and indirect competitors to inform strategic pricing decisions
  • Produce and maintain an on-going analysis of discount guidelines and set target price expectations to inform proposals
  • Leverage advanced data analytics tools to parse and interpret large datasets, extracting insights critical to pricing and sales strategies
  • Perform detailed revenue management and sales analytics to measure the effectiveness of pricing strategies
  • Apply advanced revenue management techniques to refine pricing strategies and enhance profit margins
  • Build sophisticated financial models to project the impacts of pricing adjustments on revenue, profitability, and market share
  • Utilize pricing data to provide actionable financial forecasts and strategic insights to guide executive decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, finance, and GTM teams to gather comprehensive insights and ensure an integrated approach to product pricing and program management

What you bring to Komodo Health:

  • 5+ years of data analysis, business strategy, or strategic finance within the SaaS industry
  • Prior experience building pricing models & strategies for SaaS products 
  • Experience with sales analysis and revenue management concepts
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills including pivot tables, look-ups and data visualization
  • Experience applying advanced analytics to a variety of business situations and a proven ability to synthesize complex data
  • Ability to distill complex results or processes into simple and clear visualizations
  • Experience building data visualizations and dashboards in tools like Tableau
