In the Sr. Sales Operations Analyst role for the Expand Sales team, you will closely partner with the Account Management Sales team and other key Expansion partners to operationalize and accelerate processes and programs supporting growth initiatives. This role has a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic environment and requires a deep understanding of the business to design and implement the right solutions at the right time increasing sales productivity, program team collaboration, and ultimately growth.

This role reports to Senior Manager, Sales Operations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key business partners including: Sales Leaders, Customer Success, Sales Training, Marketing, and Sales Finance teams
  • Process design, optimization and documentation to:
    • Support the effective execution of Upwork's Enterprise sales strategy
    • Enable program team collaboration across the user and customer journey
    • Identify and collect relevant process metrics to understand compliance and success
    • Build and support an effective territory management program designing optimal Account Portfolios and supporting insights
    • Assist in operationalizing the expansion business pipeline and forecasting framework
    • Support key "run the business" efforts including Salesforce.com report and dashboard builds, deriving insights from internal BI tool, and maintaining the integrity of CRM data leveraging tech stack and 3rd party data providers

What it takes to catch our eye:

  • 5+ years of Sales or Revenue Operations experience 
  • Candidates with Enterprise/B2B sales or talent/staffing industry experience preferred
  • Experience working with broader customer facing teams e.g., customer success, implementation, solution architects, and business development
  • Proven ability to effectively design and implement processes and programs within a sales organization
  • Proficient in Salesforce.com reporting and functionality
  • Familiarity using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI to derive insight
  • Self starter, anticipates needs and proactively coordinates communication efforts

The annual base salary for this position in California and Washington ranges from $81,000 - $141,000 . The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum salary for this position in California and Washington, and individual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this position is eligible for the annual bonus plan or sales incentive plan and eligibility to participate in our long term equity incentive program.
