Twitter is what’s happening and what people are talking about right now. For us, life's not about a job, it's about purpose. We believe real change starts with conversation. Here, your voice matters. Come as you are and together we'll do what's right (not what's easy) to serve the public conversation.
Who We Are
Twitter serves the public conversation by encouraging people all over the world to connect, learn, debate and solve problems together. We believe conversation can change the world, and that’s why Tweeps (that’s what we call Twitter employees) come to work everyday.
Twitter’s globally distributed, real-time communications network generates trillions of events and petabytes of data per day. As engineers on the Data Platform team, our mission is to build the fastest, most reliable, and largest-scale data infrastructure in the world - able to cope with ever-increasing volumes of data in real time - and then apply them to the company’s most critical and fundamental data problems.
