We're Looking For

Brandfolder is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for data and data-driven insights to join our Product Engineering team. You have a solid foundation in data engineering. You have enthusiasm for designing, building, and maintaining highly available and scalable distributed systems handling billions of data events and records.

As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Smartsheet (Brandfolder) provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional and educational experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado, the range of starting pay for this position is $160,000 - $180,000.

You Will

  • Build our data pipeline to be high performing, reliable, scalable and maintainable with state of the art tools: Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Airflow, Spark, Airbyte
  • Monitor and improve data quality with automation
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of our data platform
  • Incorporate data product features and data insights (AI/ML models, feature extraction datasets, analytics) into the production end-user experience
  • Support data delivery through the data warehouse, web application, API and reporting
  • Work within our versatile data squad and across other software development squads
  • Be able to deploy your work to production daily
  • Join the data squad, reporting to the squad’s engineering manager

You Have

  • 5+ years of professional data engineering experience, or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Adept in Python and SQL
  • Experience with multiple of relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Flexibility to balance working independently and in collaboration with others
  • A growth mindset and passion for learning new data technologies
  • Eligibility to legally work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis
