What you'll be doing:

• Report to the Director of Project Controls
• Be part of the team that is responsible for bringing project controls and performance analytics excellence to the business. Together, we are responsible for construction reporting, analytics, visualization and related performance intelligence within our quickly growing company
• Understand construction drivers and interfaces, find relevant data correlations, and create processes by which the data correlations are translated to information flows that help drive execution strategy
• Help us turn our various pockets of data into value add information, enabling timely and strategic decision making 
• Build data pipelines, acquiring data from source systems, moving it along data hierarchy from messy and raw to clean and aggregated
• Explore the data with visualization tools and statistical techniques to bring transparency to construction performance and excellence
• Provide mentorship and coaching to junior analysts and the construction organization
• Occasional Domestic and International travel < 10%

What you'll bring:

• Amazing interpersonal skills and be a top-notch communicator (verbal and written) 
• Passion and  proficiency in the presentation and visualization of numbers and statistical data
• Excellent problem solving skills, ability to analyze and interpret data and convey information in a logical manner to various audiences
• 5+ years experience handling, manipulating and analyzing data and creating analytical reports 
• 5+ years of quantitative analysis work experience  
• Strong expertise with visualization platforms like PowerBi and programming languages like SQL; as well with as database structures and data lake architectures
• Post-secondary education in a technical field, or B.S./M.S.
• Previous experience in Project Controls or Project Management would be considered an asset
• Ability to operate in a startup environment, easily adapt and evolve with changing business requirements
• Desire to continue your knowledge of company business, strategy and objectives
