As a growing company, we are looking for a software engineer with an interest in data engineering and process automation to help us build our healthcare data pipelines and support API microservices. You will join our Data Ingestion team and report to our Team Lead of Bulk Data Ingest. Our ETL pipelines harmonize and de-identify healthcare data using the FHIR standard.
You will:
- 2 or more years of software or data engineering experience
- Experience with orchestration engines (preferably Apache Nifi)
- Professional experience in Python, Java, or other JVM-based technologies
- Professional experience using relational SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL), and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch)
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins)
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP or Azure)
We are looking for people who have:
- Professional experience building and deploying RESTful APIs
- Experience building test automation for ETL process
- Experience building scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
- Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
- Prior HL7/FHIR or general healthcare experience (research or clinical)
