We are hiring for a math-focused software engineer to join our 25-person engineering team to expand our data science efforts. In this role, you will work with our data science team to improve our health-care reporting workflow and efficiency through analytics, machine learning models, data analytics and natural language processing. You will use your math and software development backgrounds to operationalize our data science efforts. This is a great opportunity for a proven Software Engineer to break into data science and data engineering.

As a Software Engineer, you will:

• Work on various projects ranging from statistical data analysis, data pipelines, machine learning.
• Write software to implement domain agnostic generalized mathematical models that could be deployed on any data.
• Work closely with leaders across the organization to look for workflow automation opportunities and execute them.
• Build advanced software solutions that will help prepare the data for analytics projects.
• Communicate your successful efforts through documentation and white papers.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Qualification Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. in Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering along with complementary experience or education in math or computer science.
• 4+ year of hands-on experience in software engineering writing world class software solutions with Python, Ruby, Java, or Go.
• Comfortable in a CLI/POSIX environment.
• Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS, is a plus.
