We are looking for a Specialist Data Engineer, to organize and structure the processes for collaboration within the Product & Engineering Team. As a company that breathes diversity, for all positions, we encourage candidates of all regions, genders, races, beliefs, and sexual orientations. 

As the Data Engineer, you'll act as liaison and go-to people for other teams. Also, you are going to contribute to best practices, processes, social welfare of team members and more.

Your Impact:

    • Highly experienced in technology areas relevant to role: Creation of functions, procedures, complex queries, indexes and tables, data extraction and import, normalization, ETLs, Big Data and Data Lake.
    • Methodical and accurate work estimates. Sets realistic deadlines that drive to delivery. Understands scope trade-offs, and actively revisits scope and cuts when/where needed to ship early.
    • Takes responsibility for end-to-end feature work; through planning, development, deployment, maintenance, and monitoring.
    • Actively ensures that the team is focused on the business goals and not over-engineers solutions.
    • Continuously drives quality across the stack.
    • Communicates regularly with suppliers and stakeholders outside its own team to clarify and scope requirements, ensuring consistency of architecture and data and guiding planning and priorities.

What we're looking for:

    • 4+ years experience as a data engineer;
    • Solid experience of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle;
    • Great Knowledge providing mentoring other engineers for best practices on software engineering;
    • Good communication skills and willing to embrace our company culture and values;
    • Advanced or fluent English skills.
