About This Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a special focus on SEO to join our Analytics team. Though they will report to the Manager of Analytics, they will be embedded on and work very closely with cross-functional teams including product & marketing to drive growth. Our ideal candidate is motivated by growth and passionate about uncovering insights through data analyses.


What success looks like:

    • Proactively identify & execute on strategic analyses that will help us build our Camper Acquisition strategy, including SEO 
    • Build SEO reporting and continuously monitor our SEO performance to make recommendations
    • Execute on strategic analyses that will help the company understand their users and identify new growth opportunities 
    • Provide recommendations on team execution, test setup, and priorities
    • Partner closely with cross functional partners to help them hit their goals
    • Enable and educate teammates to pull their own data & insights
    • Support in creation of well-structured, organized, and easily accessible data through partnership with Engineering
    • Define success metrics, analyze performance, experiment, and iterate quickly

What sets you up for success:

    • 4+ years in Product, Marketing, or Growth analytics 
    • 1+ years working with SEO data & 3rd party SEO tools
    • Proficiency in SQL and data visualization
    • Proficiency with rapid hypothesis-driven experimentation and analysis
    • Experience with exploratory analysis, storytelling, and influencing via insights
    • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
    • Comfort working in fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
    • Comfort collaborating with a distributed team
    • Passion for our mission
    • Nice to have: 1+ years working with Partnerships or Paid Marketing channel data

About Our Work Environment

Total compensation for every full-time role at Hipcamp includes competitive base salary, equity, and benefits. At Hipcamp, we leverage the complexity and scope of each role's requirements, as well as, current market data to determine our compensation bands. As of this posting (subject to change), the estimated base salary for this role is $135,000 - $160,000 USD.
