Chainlink Labs is looking for an exceptional and experienced Sr Data Scientist to help lead the delivery of multiple cross functional projects within our rapidly growing Data Analytics team. The successful candidate will quickly become an expert on both crypto and traditional business data, merging these to deliver high impact insights, shaping the decision making process across the Chainlink labs business, as we continue to lead the decentralized oracle space. Chainlink is a mission and goals oriented organization and this role will play a key part in scaling the finance processes as well as improving overall financial data quality.

You will apply your advanced analytics knowledge and experience to interact with stakeholders, identify new problems and opportunities, develop innovative solutions, contribute to the data science foundations, and coach more junior colleagues. You will play a strong role in shaping our strategy.

Your Impact

• Help lead and mentor our talented team of data scientists and analysts
• Recruit and onboard new analytics superstars to help our team scale alongside the company
• Generate and propagate business focused insights, accelerating Chainlink labs move through the Data Analytics life cycle
• Become a business SME on blockchain and Chainlink product specific data, to produce powerful messaging through analytics
• Ensure the highest quality data is consumed by the business, driving decision making to continue to outperform the industry
• Work closely with our world class data science team to translate complex statistical analysis into business actions
• Influence key stakeholders through your data storytelling

Requirements

• 5+ years of Analytics experience or equivalent field
• Strong technical skills in advanced analytics with a proven track record. These technical skills include, but not limited to, regression techniques, neural networks, decision trees, clustering, pattern recognition, anomaly detection, probability theory, stochastic systems, Bayesian inference, deep learning, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning
• Strong technical knowledge of big data technologies and SQL
• Strong history leading cross-functional projects and delivering to multiple senior stakeholders
• Experience with BI tooling such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker essential
• Product Ownership attitude, everything you deliver meets exceptionally high standards
• Undergraduate degree in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Statistics or a STEM field or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• Experience working remotely in a distributed team.
• A strong desire to grow and challenge yourself. While this role is mainly focused on maintenance, we would expect you to constantly find ways to improve and automate services under your purview.

This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
