The Role: 

As a Sr. Sales Operations Analyst , you will be a vital part of the Revenue Operations team, acting as a trusted advisor and partner to our VP, Lodging Revenue, and their organization. As we rapidly scale this high-growth new division, the Sr. Sales Operations Analyst will act as a critical conduit between the Lodging Sales team and the broader organization, driving strategy execution and leading critical initiatives around territory management, account distribution, process documentation, and management. This professional will act as the connective tissue that consistently measures and manages a growing part of our business. 

In this role you will: 

  • Partner with senior leadership to execute operational efforts for the Lodging Sales team, including GTM headcount planning, segmentation, compensation, and organization design, with a tight alignment with broader Revenue Operations, Reporting, and Finance teams. 
  • Partner with Sales leadership to implement Strategy & Planning decisions, including org structure, go-to-market motion, KPIs, HC requirements, investments, and training needed for success. 
  • Assist the VP of Lodging Sales with projects as needed, including presentations, custom reporting, research, and the creation of documents.
  • Lead design of territories, roles, and incentives to achieve outcomes supporting company strategy.
  • Provide analytical sales support as needed. Utilize dashboards to uncover insights on marketing & sales investments and capacity planning.
  • Lead governance/stewardship for Sales and how they interact with business partners, including evolving processes and ROE (rules of engagement) 
  • Work with the sales team on PowerPoint presentations for executives and clients
  • Proactively review & analyze data and insights to identify opportunities for business improvement – both within your responsibilities and broader business concerns (e.g., what insights do you see in your analysis that others aren't seeing?)
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on custom sales and marketing resources such as collateral, presentations, communications, campaigns, etc.
  • Provide both operational and strategic support to enable leaders to execute business objectives successfully 

Here's what we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor's degree: Master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of Sales Operations and/or relevant experience integrating and supporting business processes, with a subset being in a management role.
  • Start-up / high-growth environment experience required 
  • Demonstrable knowledge of sales business processes, including forecasting, territory, quota setting, S&OP, and lead-to-order funnels
  • Advanced technology skills, specifically in Excel and other Microsoft applications, and the ability to utilize Salesforce and database software tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and improvements and develop new strategies
  • Ability to produce significant output with minimal wasted effort. Successfully manage multiple projects from execution through to implementation and optimization 
  • Ability to provide clear communication regarding strategy (what we are doing, why, how it impacts) and present it in a clear, articulate, natural, and consistent way across all levels
  • Ability to draw insightful conclusions from data. Deliver timely insights that contribute to driving performance
  • Ability to work with Finance, Marketing, and Sales leadership to manage top-down and bottoms-up forecasting; create benchmarks, trending, analysis

Cash compensation

  • The base salary range for this role is $102,000 - $122,000/year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
