About the Role

As Staff Marketing Analyst, you will have the opportunity to relentlessly leverage data, data science, experimentation and analytics to understand how we can optimize our lifecycle marketing, retention as well as engagement efforts. Because you are dedicated to causation, attribution and incremental lift - understanding not only where our marketing efforts have been successful, but why - you will lead deep dives into lifecycle marketing as well as predictive and/or site/media analytics.

For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $187,200 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.

In this role, you can expect to

  • Champion a data-driven, test-and-learn culture with your passion for telling stories with data - not only surfacing marketing and lifecycle insights, but also presenting those insights and recommendations to a variety of levels within the organization, including executives, to influence change.
  • Proactive, high degree of ownership, focus on simplifying and helping us develop the right narratives to inform marketing strategy.
  • Be obsessed with causation, attribution and incremental lift - measuring the marginal benefit against marginal cost/efforts of our marketing efforts.
  • Be a strategic partner to marketing and own key areas of LCM to start to end; responsible for data integrity and build out attribution across Marketing and Product Analytics
  • Cross-functional leader across Analytics, Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Data Engineering.
  • Own and build marketing predictive models to drive marketing efficiency across lifecycle, paid marketing, and integrated strategy
  • Manage web analytics to draw insights regarding the customer journey from their first touchpoint to conversion and help drive web strategy to improve the user experience
  • Substantial experience in analytics, technical leadership, and are a practical problem solver, able to work with technical and non-technical partners
  • Experience guiding technical best practices, leading cross-functional technical initiatives, and experience working with platform engineering and data engineering partners

To thrive in this role, you have

  • You have an advanced degree in Quantitative Marketing, Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • You have 8+ years of industry experience in B2C Lifecycle Marketing Analytics and Growth Marketing (in FinTech, Banking, Lending or Credit, a plus).
  • You are a thought leader who delights in applying experimentation / AB testing, statistical analysis and other data science techniques to understand how you can optimize marketing efforts to drive engagement and retention.
  • Expert on deep dives into causation, attribution, incremental lift and multi-touch attribution. Drive alignment on attribution across Product and Marketing.
  • Deep knowledge on lifecycle marketing retention and engagement and will be a key partner in optimizing lifecycle marketing strategy.
  • You understand how to surmount the unique challenges of providing a unified view of the customer journey from a variety of marketing campaign origins to web / app enrollment.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with an ability to work both independently and through others to achieve results
  • Skilled in statistical programming (Python or R) and big data manipulation in SQL; (a plus to have experience building predictive models)
  • Expert in lifecycle marketing tools (i.e., Salesforce, Braze, Iterable, etc) as well as site/web analytics (i.e. Google or Adobe Analytics)
