About the Role

As a Staff Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for improving the quality of analysis and decision making across our Go-to-Market team. You will partner cross-functionally with leaders across Marketing, Sales, and Growth to build systematic approaches to measuring marketing lift, deep dive into customer acquisition funnels, and improve the overall efficiency of our growth machine.

You will report to the Head of Data and are welcome to either work out of our office in New York City or work remotely from anywhere in the continental US.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and analyze marketing metrics and KPIs, such as CAC, LTV and payback period
  • Iterate and improve upon our conversion rate and marketing attribution models
  • Work with the GTM team to design robust experiments to measure the success of our marketing campaigns
  • Serve as a thought partner to the GTM leadership team in deciding how to strategically grow our customer base
  • Partner with Data Engineering and peer Analytics teams to implement best-in-class analytical frameworks and testing structure across our analytics stack

What We’re Looking For 

  • 7+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, 4+ years in a marketing analytics or science role, ideally at a D2C or SaaS company
  • Strong working knowledge of stats (regression, conversation rate modeling, A/B testing, media mix modeling, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R
  • A demonstrated self-starter with strong communication and project management skills
  • Proficiency with dbt, Looker or data visualization tools is preferred
  • Familiarity with operational data tools like Segment, Iterable and similar is a plus

The starting base salary for this role in New York, California, and Washington is between $160,000-$195,000 + target equity + benefits. The base salary offered is dependent upon many factors including skills, experience, location, and education. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. 

Additionally, this role is currently eligible to participate in GlossGenius’s equity plan as well as a range of health & wellbeing, retirement savings, and other benefits within our total rewards offering.
